Universal IT Technologies provides computer repair services, which include Apple Mac Diagnostics, Computer and Laptop Repair/Upgrade, Business Support, PC Diagnostics, Data Recovery, Virus Removal, and Out of Warranty Repairs. IT Services that are offered include Ethernet Low Voltage Cabling, Network IT Installer, Camera Surveillance Installation, IT Outsourcing, and Voice Over IP (VoIP) services. Any other services that are requested by the client shall be considered at the discretion of Universal IT Technologies owner and technicians. The ability to offer these services are not guaranteed, either implicitly or explicitly.
Estimates can be provided free of charge depending on the situation and the type of service request given that it does not cost us any money to diagnose. Situations that may cost us to diagnose would be but are not limited to, repairs dealing with the inspection of internal components that require removal of adhesive and/or require special tools to access may result in fees relating to tools required to diagnose. If we feel that the diagnosis will be too time-consuming or if the product is beyond repair, we will return the product to the client in its original state as defined by the form the client fills out before services or diagnosis is rendered. We reserve the right to change the estimation amount depending on circumstances that will be explained to the client in detail. We will also notify the client before charging for any fees relating to the estimation for approval.
We want to be as clairvoyant as possible about fees and the possibility of repair but we cannot guarantee that the estimates will always reflect the final prices of repair as unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we strive to do our best to provide as accurate of a price as possible. We will seek approval for any other services or repairs that are not outlined in our original plan.
Additional Part Policy
If we require additional parts to complete a repair or service, we will notify the client and upon receiving confirmation, invoice the customer for the parts we will be ordering to repair or use in a service. We will not use any parts provided by the client to complete a repair due to our inability to determine whether the parts are the correct parts for the repair or service. If the customer does not agree, we will return the client’s objects and/or stop the implementation of the service. We will not use any other parts that we cannot confirm to 100% fix the problem and cannot be responsible for your item’s complete repair or service if we do not feel absolute that the parts or tools we use can be trusted. If you have us do the work and the part does work, we would have to provide you a quote for the correct part, and charge you again for the labor. Otherwise we will return the computer back to you.

If services or repairs rendered would void your manufacturer’s warranty, we will do our best to notify you, but in no way is this a guarantee. It is the client’s responsibility to check whether or not the manufacturer’s warranty is still wanted on the device before submitting any work orders to our business.
Due to storage concerns, we will hold on to devices for up to 30 days after we contact you to pick up your device. After that time, if we have not heard from you we will consider your device abandoned and it will become the property of Universal IT Technologies LLC. We reserve the right to erase all data on the hard drive (which includes the operating system, all documents, programs, pictures, and etc) and restore to factory settings. We will take out the working parts which can be used for our work or sell to our customers. We also reserve the right to sell or auction the computer or device so it is critical that you pick up your equipment on time or make arrangements with Universal IT Technologies LLC to store your equipment until you can pick it up. There are no exceptions.
Universal IT Technologies LLC does not guarantee any security or safety of your data. We will do our best to secure your data but in some circumstances, your data may become unsalvageable. In these cases, will notify you to our best knowledge, however, we cannot be held liable for any loss of data. We also try our best to keep the privacy of our client’s data but for repair and services to be rendered, we may be exposed to your data. We cannot be held liable for damages regarding sensitive data exposure to our technicians. Please let our technicians know in advance if there is any possibility that there is any sensitive data on your device or back up your data prior to bringing our devices to our custody.
We may charge an extra fee if the repair or services were more difficult than initially thought if there were situations that were not mentioned before the repair or service is scheduled. We cannot give you accurate estimates if you do not disclose situations that may present extra difficulty. These fees will be up to the discretion of the technician.
